Viagra Connect® as a treatment for Erectile Dysfunction
Erectile dysfunction (ED) is the inability to achieve or maintain an erection sufficient to have sex.
Erection problems can put a strain on relationships. They can also be a warning sign of a health condition or disease you might not be aware of. That’s why it’s important to take action and find a solution for your ED.
Daily life can sometimes get in the way of your sex life. When it does, Viagra Connect is here to help.
Who it’s for: Viagra Connect is for adult men (over 18 years of age) who have erection problems (EPs) – what doctors might call erectile dysfunction (ED).
Who it isn’t for: If you are a woman, a man under 18, or do not have EPs, then Viagra Connect isn’t the right treatment for you.
Where you buy it: From our trusted partner ChemistDirect, from other online pharmacies, and from your local pharmacy. No prescription needed.
Are you taking other medicines? Some medicines can interact with Viagra Connect, so you’ll be asked what else you might be taking before you can buy it.
Do you have any other health conditions? Some men will have issues with their health that make Viagra Connect unsuitable for them. This is why you’ll be asked a few straightforward questions about your health before you can buy it.
Local Pharmacy: Hickey’s Pharmacy is located in the UK. It is the second Hickey’s website to sell sildenafil. The traditional traditional pharmacy would recommend a Hickey’s Pharmacy site, as they have never sell sildenafil themselves but have been providing it to the public since the 80s.
A new study suggests that some erectile dysfunction drugs could be used to treat high blood pressure and other health problems.
The findings of an international study published Monday in the New England Journal of Medicine show that many of the common drugs used for treating erectile dysfunction are now approved for use in men.
Erectile dysfunction, also known as impotence, is a common problem affecting many men in many countries. The new study is the first to examine the effects of the drugs on blood flow.
The researchers, from the University of California San Diego and University of Florida, used the results of two separate large-scale trials that were conducted in six of the most conservative countries in the world. They found that the drugs used for erectile dysfunction were more likely to affect blood flow in men with heart disease, but they were not associated with a significant increase in blood pressure.
“We are pleased to see that this new study supports our earlier findings, which showed that sildenafil, another nitric oxide synthetase inhibitor, could reduce the risk of hypertension and angina, but not increase the risk of heart attacks and strokes. We also think that sildenafil may be an important treatment for angina, which is characterized by muscle relaxation and a decrease in blood flow,” Dr. Feixiong Cheng, professor of medicine at the University of California San Diego School of Medicine, said in a statement. “Sildenafil may provide additional benefits for people with diabetes and hypertension, which are also associated with angina.”
The study was funded by Eli Lilly and Company, which is one of the largest drug makers in the world, and AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals LP, which is based in Wilmington, Delaware.
The drugs used in the studies were marketed in the United States, which had its largest market, according to Dr. Cheng. In some countries, such as the United Kingdom and Germany, the drugs are being marketed as “Viagra” or “Sildenafil.” In this study, men taking one of the drugs were asked to take one of four doses for four months, and then one of the drugs was taken for one month to see if it improved blood flow to the penis.
The researchers found that men who took the four-week drug therapy had a significantly greater increase in blood flow, the maximum effect being in the first week, compared with men who did not take the drug. The study authors note that this effect was similar for men who took the drug for four months and men who were given the drug for six months.
“Our findings suggest that some of the newer medications may be more effective for some men with erectile dysfunction,” Dr. Cheng said. “However, further research is needed to determine whether they actually work for many men with erectile dysfunction.”
The drug companies also said that men who have been prescribed the drugs should speak with their doctors before starting them.
“The results show that these drugs do not appear to improve blood flow to the penis, which is not surprising, given the small sample size and relatively mild side effects associated with the two drugs used in this study,” Dr. Cheng added. “We hope that this new study will lead to more comprehensive studies to confirm our findings and to further investigate the safety of the drugs.”
The researchers hope that the results of their study will help to further inform the research that is now ongoing on the topic of erectile dysfunction drugs.
